How much does an AI UGC ad cost? Arcads vs Creatify vs Higgsfield vs HeyGen vs DIY (2026)

How much do AI UGC ads cost? We priced one 15-second and one 30-second talking-actor ad in Arcads, Creatify, Higgsfield, HeyGen, Orisu and the raw model APIs, using each vendor's own published units.

How much do AI UGC ads cost? Generating one 15-second talking-actor ad costs from under $1 to about $10 in 2026, depending on the tool and the model behind it. The bigger swings come from rounding (Arcads bills a 15-second actor clip as a full minute), credit expiry, and how many takes you need before one is usable.

We priced the same two deliverables everywhere: a 15-second and a 30-second ad with one person talking to camera about a product. Every competitor number below comes from the vendor's own pricing page or help center, checked October 6, 2026. Where a vendor doesn't publish something, we say so instead of filling the gap with someone else's estimate.

How did we price a UGC ad in each tool?

Each tool sells in its own unit: credits per minute, credits per 15 seconds, credits per clip, or dollars per second. To compare them we did three things:

  1. Took the tool's published rate for a talking-actor or video clip.
  2. Applied its rounding rule to a 15-second and a 30-second ad.
  3. Converted credits to dollars using the plan's price divided by its monthly credits, where the vendor publishes both.

This prices one generation. It does not include scripting time, editing, or retries. We come back to retries below, because they change the answer more than any rate card.

What does Arcads charge per ad?

Arcads' help center states the rule plainly: a talking actor on Arcads 1.0 costs "800 credits per minute, per actor", and "Length is always rounded up" (Arcads help). Their own example is a 1 minute 45 second video with two actors costing 3,200 credits.

AdBilled lengthCredits
15 s, one actor1 minute800
30 s, one actor1 minute800
60 s, one actor1 minute800

The same page lists other models: Veo 3.1 at 800 credits, Kling 3.0 at 176 to 560 credits, Seedance 2.0 at 1080p at 432 to 1,620 credits, and video translation at 240 credits.

Plans are counted in credits too. The Starter plan has 8,000 monthly credits and the Creator plan 16,000, and on those two plans "Credits reset each cycle and do not roll over" (Arcads help). So Starter covers ten talking-actor ads of up to a minute each. The rounding matters most for short hooks: a 15-second ad costs the same as a full minute.

We could not reach a public Arcads pricing page (arcads.ai/pricing returned a 404), so we have not put a dollar figure on these credits. Several dollar figures online come from competitors' blogs rather than Arcads. Our Arcads comparison covers the product side.

What does Creatify charge per ad?

Creatify's app bills video ads, avatar videos and AI Shorts at "5 credits per 15 seconds of video (rounded up)", and revisions at 3 credits per 15 seconds (Creatify help). The pricing page lists Starter at $39 a month for 100 credits and Pro at $99 a month for 300.

AdCreditsStarter ($0.39/credit)Pro ($0.33/credit)
15 s5$1.95$1.65
30 s10$3.90$3.30
60 s20$7.80$6.60
One 15 s revision3$1.17$0.99

Creatify's per-15-second rounding is much finer than a per-minute rule, so short ads stay cheap. Creatify's own models are included at that rate; Veo 3 clips are a flat 10 credits for up to 8 seconds. Its agent, Ad Flow and Ad Clone features have variable pricing. The full breakdown, including the API plans, is in Creatify pricing explained.

What does Higgsfield charge per ad?

Higgsfield prices by model, with approximate credits per clip shown on its pricing page. Plus is $49 a month for 1,000 credits ($0.049 per credit) and Ultra is $129 for 3,000 ($0.043). Starter is $15 for 200 credits ($0.075).

Model on HiggsfieldHiggsfield's rate15 s of footage≈ $ on Plus
Kling 3.0, 1080p~8 credits / 5 s~24 credits$1.18
Seedance 2.0, 1080p~45 credits / 5 s~135 credits$6.62
Veo 3.1, 720p~40 credits / 4 s~160 credits (4 × 4 s)$7.84
Kling Lipsync, 720p~2 credits / 5 s~6 credits$0.29

The "~" is Higgsfield's own; these are approximate per-clip rates. Subscription credits "don't roll over", and credit packs, auto-refill and boost credits expire 90 days after purchase (Higgsfield help). The pricing page was showing promotional discounts on Plus and Ultra when we checked, so the dollar rate may move. If you are weighing Higgsfield for ad work specifically, see Higgsfield alternatives for ad teams.

What does HeyGen charge per ad?

HeyGen's help center lists Avatar IV Photo Look at 16 credits per minute, Avatar IV Video Look at 31, and Avatar V at 48 (HeyGen help). Creator is $29 a month for 600 credits ($0.048 per credit) on the pricing page, or $24 a month billed annually.

Avatar typeCredits per minute≈ $ per minute on Creator (monthly)
Avatar IV Photo Look16$0.77
Avatar IV Video Look31$1.50
Avatar V48$2.32

HeyGen quotes per minute. We didn't find a published rounding rule for avatar minutes, so treat a full minute as the upper bound for a 15-second ad. Unused monthly credits roll over for one more month, according to the pricing page.

What does it cost to build it yourself on Orisu?

Orisu is our product. The costs below come from our model catalog on October 6, 2026, with dollars at the Pro plan rate ($49 for 5,000 credits, $0.0098 per credit) and the Starter rate ($19 for 1,000, $0.019).

Orisu recipe15 s30 s
Portrait still (Nano Banana Pro) + ElevenLabs v4 voice + OmniHuman 1.5 lip-sync~384 credits ($3.76 Pro / $7.30 Starter)~747 credits ($7.32 / $14.19)
Kling 3.0 Standard with native audio (actor and voice in one clip)284 credits ($2.78 / $5.40)568 credits, two clips ($5.57 / $10.79)
Seedance 2.5, 720p, single take with audio1,058 credits ($10.37 / $20.10)2,115 credits ($20.73 / $40.19)

The first recipe is the classic talking-actor build: one image of the presenter, a voice track (about 3 credits for a 40-word script), then lip-sync. The second lets the video model generate the person and the speech together, which is cheaper but gives you less control over the exact voice. Our AI video model price index lists 28 model settings and eight lip-sync options if you want to swap pieces.

What if you call the model APIs directly?

The cheapest per second, if you have engineers to wire it up:

Direct APIPublished rate15 s ad
Google Veo 3.1, with audio$0.40 / s$6.40 (two 8 s clips)
Google Veo 3.1 Fast, 720p$0.10 / s$1.60 (two 8 s clips)
Google Veo 3.1 Lite, 720p$0.05 / s$0.80 (two 8 s clips)
Kling 3.0, 720p, native audio$0.126 / s$1.89

Rates are from the Gemini API pricing page and Kling's developer pricing. Kling sells API units in prepaid packages starting at $700 for 5,000 units, valid 180 days. Going direct also means you build the voice, lip-sync, review and export steps yourself.

One model to cross off: OpenAI removed the Sora 2 API on September 24, 2026, with no replacement listed on its deprecations page. Some ad tools still list Sora 2 options. Check before you build a workflow around one.

Cost per generation vs cost per usable ad

Every table above prices one take. Real UGC ads take several, because the failures are specific: fingers merging with the product, a label that warps, a mouth that drifts off the words. Your real number is:

Cost per usable ad = cost per take × takes per keeper

As an example only (three takes is an assumption, not a measured rate):

Tool and setupOne 15 s takeThree takes
Creatify Pro$1.65$4.95
Arcads talking actor800 credits2,400 credits
Higgsfield, Kling 3.0 1080p (Plus)$1.18$3.53
Orisu, portrait + voice + OmniHuman (Pro)$3.76$11.29
Veo 3.1 with audio, Gemini API$6.40$19.20

Count your own takes for a week and divide by the ads that shipped. That ratio, more than any rate card, tells you which tool is cheap for your product. It also explains why per-minute rounding hurts: when you test ten 15-second hooks, you pay for ten minutes.

Which tool is cheapest for which job?

  • If you want lots of short, templated ads from a product URL, Creatify's 15-second billing is hard to beat on price per finished ad, and it includes the script and edit.
  • If you want a recognizable presenter library and run longer ads, Arcads' per-minute pricing is gentler on 60-second ads than on 15-second hooks.
  • If you want many video models under one subscription, Higgsfield's per-model rates are low for Kling and higher for Veo and Seedance.
  • For spokesperson videos and translated versions, HeyGen's per-minute avatar rates are low and translation is built in.
  • For a repeatable pipeline you control, building on Orisu costs more per take than the cheapest app. In return you choose the model, your brand inputs reach every step, each run shows its cost first, and reruns only bill the steps you changed. The UGC ads workflow is that build, ready to run.

Whichever you pick, read the rounding rule and the expiry rule before the plan price. Creatify says monthly credits stay valid for two months (Creatify FAQ). Arcads Starter and Creator reset each cycle. Higgsfield subscriptions don't roll over. HeyGen rolls over one month. Unused credits are part of the price.

Common questions.

How much does an AI UGC ad cost in 2026?

A 15-second AI UGC ad costs from under $1 to about $10 to generate once, depending on the tool and model. Creatify's app charges 5 credits per 15 seconds ($1.65 to $1.95 on its plans), Orisu's talking-actor recipe is about 384 credits ($3.76 on Pro), and Veo 3.1 with audio on Google's API is $6.40 for two 8-second clips.

How does Arcads charge for talking-actor videos?

Arcads' help center says a talking actor costs 800 credits per minute, per actor, and that length is always rounded up. A 15-second ad and a 60-second ad therefore both bill 800 credits. We could not find plan prices on a public Arcads pricing page, so we can't convert that to dollars.

Why is the real cost of an AI UGC ad higher than the sticker price?

Because you rarely keep the first take. Hands, labels and lip-sync fail often enough that most teams generate several versions per ad they ship. Your cost per usable ad is the per-take price multiplied by the number of takes, plus any rounding the tool applies to short clips.

Do AI UGC tool credits expire?

Usually, in some form. Creatify says monthly-plan credits stay valid for two months. Arcads Starter and Creator credits reset each cycle. Higgsfield subscription credits don't roll over and its credit packs expire 90 days after purchase. HeyGen monthly credits roll over for one more month.
