ComfyUI alternatives for marketers: node canvases that don't need a GPU

The best ComfyUI alternative depends on why you're leaving: the GPU, the setup, or the lack of ad tooling. Comfy Cloud, RunComfy, Flora, Figma Weave, Krea Nodes, Magnific Spaces, Promptus and Orisu compared.

The best ComfyUI alternative depends on what you are leaving behind. If it's the GPU, a hosted ComfyUI like Comfy Cloud or RunComfy keeps your workflows intact. If it's the setup and upkeep, a browser node canvas such as Flora, Figma Weave, Krea Nodes, Magnific Spaces or Orisu trades some control for hosted models and less maintenance.

ComfyUI is the most flexible node tool for generative media, and it is free. Marketers usually look for an alternative for one of three reasons: they don't have a capable GPU, they don't want to manage custom nodes and model files, or they need things ComfyUI was never built for, like running one workflow across a product catalog or showing a client what a batch will cost before it runs. This guide sorts the options by which of those problems they solve.

How we chose these ComfyUI alternatives

We looked for tools a marketing or creative team could use without a local GPU, and judged them on five points:

  1. Setup: does it run in the browser, or do you still manage hardware and installs?
  2. Node canvas: can you chain steps into a visible graph, the way you do in ComfyUI?
  3. Models: open-weight models you bring yourself, hosted commercial models, or both?
  4. Batch and catalog work: can one workflow run across many inputs, like a product list?
  5. API and MCP: can the workflow be triggered from code or from an AI assistant?

Every price and feature below comes from the vendor's own site, checked October 6, 2026. Where a vendor doesn't publish something, we left the cell as "not stated" rather than guess.

1. Comfy Cloud: keep ComfyUI, drop the GPU

What it is. The official hosted ComfyUI from the team behind it. The desktop app stays free to "run ComfyUI on your own hardware", and Comfy Cloud runs the same workflows on their GPUs.

Strongest at. Continuity. Your existing workflows, nodes and habits carry over. Credits pay for "active GPU time while a workflow is running, and Partner Nodes", and Comfy's own example is that a five-second video from the Wan 2.2 template uses roughly 11 credits. There's also an official MCP server for connecting an AI assistant.

Limits. Standard and Creator plans cap a workflow at 30 minutes of runtime, and concurrency runs from 1 workflow on Standard to 25 on Team. You still build and debug ComfyUI graphs, so the learning curve stays the same.

Pricing. Standard is $16 a month billed yearly ($20 monthly) for 50,400 credits a year. Creator is $28 ($35), Pro is $80 ($100), and Team is $630 ($700). The free tier gives "5 free runs on real GPUs".

2. RunComfy: ComfyUI on rented GPUs

What it is. RunComfy runs native ComfyUI, "synced with official releases", on GPUs you rent by the hour.

Strongest at. Choosing your hardware. Pay-as-you-go rates start at $0.99 an hour for a T4 or A4000 and go up to $4.99 for an A100 and $9.59 for an H200. It can also turn any workflow into a serverless API.

Limits. You are paying for GPU time, so idle sessions and slow graphs cost money. It's still ComfyUI, with everything that implies about setup.

Pricing. No subscription needed for pay-as-you-go. Pro is $19.99 a month (billed $239.90 a year) and takes 20% or more off the GPU rates.

3. Flora: a team canvas billed in dollars

What it is. A browser node canvas that now lives at flora.ai and describes itself as "your team's new all-in-one creative solution", with a visual canvas, action nodes and batch generations.

Strongest at. Team use with clear spend. Usage comes from "a shared dollar pool… metered at published model rates", with pooled team usage and per-member caps. API and MCP access are included from the Starter plan. We compared it with Orisu in detail on our Flora comparison page.

Limits. Its pricing page lists nothing built for product catalogs or ad delivery, and you work with the hosted models it offers rather than your own.

Pricing. Free covers up to 17 generations (capped at $2.50 of usage). Starter is $18 per seat a month, Pro $50 and Max $200. Enterprise starts at nine seats.

4. Figma Weave: nodes next to your design tool

What it is. Formerly Weavy, acquired by Figma in October 2025. Figma Weave is "AI models and professional editing tools in one node-based platform".

Strongest at. Teams already in Figma who want a node canvas with editing tools built in. Credits are pooled across a team.

Limits. Billing is separate from Figma for now, and running workflows through the API is listed as "coming soon". We cover it in full in Figma Weave alternatives.

Pricing. Free has 150 credits a month. Starter is $19 a month billed yearly ($24 monthly) for 1,500 credits, Professional $36 ($45) for 4,000, and Team $48 ($60) per user.

5. Krea Nodes: pipelines plus realtime

What it is. Krea is a creative suite whose Nodes feature lets you "connect every tool and model into complex automated pipelines", and turn workflows into shareable apps.

Strongest at. Exploration. Krea's realtime mode generates "as you type or draw", which nothing else here matches. It also runs a hosted MCP server.

Limits. It's built for creating and exploring. We found no catalog runs or channel feeds on its pricing page. Our Krea alternatives for ad production post goes deeper.

Pricing. Free gives 100 units a day. Pro is $21 a month billed yearly ($35 monthly) for 20,000 units, which Krea says is about 83 Seedance 2.0 videos. Max is $63 ($105), Business $160 ($200).

6. Magnific Spaces: the canvas formerly called Freepik Spaces

What it is. Freepik has rebranded as Magnific, and Spaces is its "node based AI canvas for real-time collaborative creation" on magnific.com.

Strongest at. Real-time collaboration on one canvas. Claude and ChatGPT MCP access is included from the Premium plan.

Limits. Plans are built around credits per generation (Kling 2.5 at 720p is 140 credits per 5 seconds), so heavy video work eats a yearly allowance quickly.

Pricing. The pricing page showed euros to us: Premium €10.50 a month billed yearly (€15 monthly) for 240,000 credits a year, Premium+ €25.50 (€34) and Pro €62.25 (€83). US dollar prices weren't shown, so we haven't quoted them.

7. Promptus: ComfyUI nodes with a simpler front end

What it is. Promptus calls itself "your creative command center", for images, videos and microsites, with ComfyUI-based nodes on its higher tiers.

Strongest at. Low cost and credits that never expire. The one-time License tier ($49 with 10,000 credits) adds local generation on your own computer.

Limits. The free trial has no ComfyUI support, and the node canvas starts at the Designer tier.

Pricing. Artisan is $5 a month for 5,000 credits and Designer $25 for 25,000.

8. Orisu: a node canvas built for ad production

What it is. Orisu is our product, so weigh this entry with that in mind. It's a browser node canvas where each step (script, image, video, voice, lip-sync, review) is a node, with 100+ hosted models on every plan, including Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5, Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2 and ElevenLabs.

Strongest at. The jobs ComfyUI leaves to you. Each node shows its cost before it runs, and re-runs only recompute the steps whose inputs changed. Feed imports a CSV or Shopify catalog, runs one agent down every row, puts results in a review drawer, and exports a feed Meta and TikTok pull on their own. Brain keeps brand facts from your website and documents, each with its source. Workflows can be run from Claude or ChatGPT through our MCP server, or from code through the REST API.

Limits. No local or self-hosted runs, no open-weight model or LoRA training workflow like ComfyUI's, and fewer low-level knobs. If you live inside sampler settings, you will miss them.

Pricing. Free has 100 credits a month. Starter is $19 for 1,000 credits, Pro $49 for 5,000 and Enterprise $300 for 25,000. Details are on the pricing page.

Who should stay on ComfyUI?

Stay if your work depends on things only an open tool gives you: open-weight models, custom LoRAs trained on your product, community nodes, or exact control over every step of sampling. Stay if you already own a good GPU and someone on the team likes keeping the install healthy. Nothing hosted matches that depth.

If those apply but the hardware doesn't, move to Comfy Cloud or RunComfy and keep your graphs. That is the smallest change.

Which ComfyUI alternative fits which team?

  • You want ComfyUI without owning a GPU: Comfy Cloud, or RunComfy if you want to pick the hardware.
  • You want a simple shared canvas with clear team spend: Flora.
  • Your designers live in Figma: Figma Weave.
  • You explore visually and want realtime feedback: Krea.
  • You want a collaborative canvas and already pay for Freepik: Magnific Spaces.
  • You need the cheapest entry point: Promptus.
  • You produce ads at volume and need catalog runs, cost estimates and channel feeds: Orisu.

If you are new to the idea of node canvases, our explainer on what a visual AI canvas is covers the basics.

Trying one without rebuilding everything

A ComfyUI graph doesn't import into any of these tools, so start with one workflow you run every week, rebuild it on the alternative, and compare the cost per finished asset. Our AI video model price index helps with the video side of that math. If Orisu is on your list, the free tier covers a first test, and the templates give you a working ad workflow to adapt instead of a blank canvas.

Judge the output yourself.

Common questions.

What is the best ComfyUI alternative if I don't have a GPU?

If you want to keep ComfyUI itself, use a hosted version: Comfy Cloud from the ComfyUI team, or RunComfy, which rents GPUs by the hour. If you want a simpler node canvas with hosted models, look at Flora, Figma Weave, Krea Nodes, Magnific Spaces or Orisu, which all run in the browser.

Is there a hosted version of ComfyUI?

Yes. Comfy Cloud is the official hosted ComfyUI, with plans from $16 a month billed yearly and five free runs to try it. RunComfy also runs native ComfyUI on rented GPUs, with pay-as-you-go hourly rates and a Pro plan that discounts them.

Should marketers use ComfyUI?

Use it if you need open-weight models, custom nodes, LoRAs or full control over every sampling step, and someone on the team enjoys maintaining that. If the goal is shipping ad creative every week, a hosted canvas with commercial models, cost estimates and batch runs usually gets you there with less upkeep.

Which ComfyUI alternative has an MCP server?

Several do. Comfy Cloud has an official MCP endpoint, Flora lists API and MCP access from its Starter plan, Krea runs a hosted MCP server, Magnific lists Claude and ChatGPT MCP from Premium, and Orisu has an MCP server that works in Claude and ChatGPT.
