Weavy is now Figma Weave. Figma announced the acquisition on October 30, 2025, and the node canvas lives on at weave.figma.com with credit plans from $19 a month. If you are looking for a Weavy alternative, Flora is the closest browser canvas, Krea Nodes suits exploration, ComfyUI gives the most control, and Orisu is built for ad production.

Plenty of Weavy users were happy to see it land at Figma. Others want to know what changed, whether the pricing still fits, and what else does the same job. This post covers both: what Figma Weave is today, and the alternatives worth testing if you make ads with it.

What happened to Weavy?

Figma announced the acquisition on October 30, 2025: "We have acquired Weavy, joining our platform as Figma Weave." Weavy's site now carries a short note: "Weavy is now Figma Weave. Welcome to our new home at weave.figma.com."

The product itself kept its shape. Figma describes it as "AI models and professional editing tools in one node-based platform", and it still runs in the browser. Two details matter if you budget for it:

How much does Figma Weave cost?

From weave.figma.com/pricing, checked October 6, 2026:

PlanMonthly billingBilled yearly (per month)Credits per month
Free$0$0150
Starter$24$191,500
Professional$45$364,000
Team$60 per user$48 per user4,500 per user

Top-ups are $10 per 1,000 credits on Starter and $10 per 1,200 on Professional and Team. Team plans share one credit pool and include workspace file sharing. Enterprise adds your own API keys, and running workflows through the API is listed as "coming soon".

How we picked these Weavy alternatives

We looked at the tool through an ad team's eyes and compared alternatives on:

  1. Whether it runs in the browser on hosted models, like Weave does.
  2. Whether it has a real node canvas you can share and rerun.
  3. Whether you can trigger workflows from code or an AI assistant today.
  4. Whether it helps with ad-specific work: many products, many languages, talking presenters, delivery to ad platforms.
  5. How spend is controlled for a team.

All prices come from each vendor's own site, checked October 6, 2026.

1. Flora: the closest like-for-like

Flora, now at flora.ai, is a browser node canvas with action nodes and batch generations, sold as "your team's new all-in-one creative solution". If Weave works for you and you mainly want an alternative with an API today, Flora is the shortest move.

Its pricing is in dollars rather than credits: teams draw from "a shared dollar pool… metered at published model rates", with pooled usage and per-member caps. Free covers up to 17 generations (capped at $2.50 of usage), Starter is $18 per seat a month, Pro $50 and Max $200. API and MCP access come with Starter. We compared it with Orisu on our Flora comparison page.

2. Krea Nodes: for exploration and realtime work

Krea is a broader creative suite. Its Nodes feature connects "every tool and model into complex automated pipelines", and workflows can become shareable apps. The realtime mode, which generates as you type or draw, is the reason many designers keep Krea open next to everything else.

Pro is $21 a month billed yearly ($35 monthly) for 20,000 units, Max $63 ($105) and Business $160 ($200) with up to 50 seats, SSO and per-member spend limits. Krea also hosts an MCP server for Claude and other assistants. More in our Krea alternatives post.

3. Magnific Spaces: the canvas formerly called Freepik Spaces

Freepik has rebranded as Magnific, and Spaces is its "node based AI canvas for real-time collaborative creation". If your team already pays for Freepik, Spaces is the cheapest way to try a node canvas without adding a vendor.

The pricing page showed us euros: Premium is €10.50 a month billed yearly (€15 monthly) for 240,000 credits a year, Premium+ €25.50 (€34) and Pro €62.25 (€83). Claude and ChatGPT MCP access starts at Premium and the API at Premium+.

4. ComfyUI and Comfy Cloud: the most control

ComfyUI is free and open source if you run it on your own GPU. Comfy Cloud hosts it, from $16 a month billed yearly, with five free runs to test. You get open-weight models, custom nodes and LoRAs, which no hosted canvas here offers. You also get ComfyUI's learning curve. We compared the hosted options in ComfyUI alternatives for marketers.

5. Orisu: a node canvas for ad production

Orisu is our product, so read this one with that in mind. Like Weave, it is a browser node canvas on hosted models, 100+ of them on every plan, including Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5, Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2 and ElevenLabs voices.

Where it differs is the ad work around the canvas:

  • Feed imports a CSV or Shopify catalog and runs one agent down every row, then exports a feed that Meta and TikTok pull.
  • Lip-sync and dubbing nodes turn one winning ad into other languages (ad localization).
  • Every node shows its cost before it runs, and re-runs only recompute the steps you changed.
  • Brain holds your brand facts, each with its source, and applies them to every run.
  • Workflows run from Claude or ChatGPT through our MCP server, or from code through the REST API.

What Orisu doesn't have: Weave's built-in professional editing tools and its place inside the Figma ecosystem. If your designers want to stay in Figma all day, that counts for a lot. Plans start free with 100 credits a month; Starter is $19 for 1,000 credits and Pro $49 for 5,000 (pricing).

Who should stay on Figma Weave?

Stay if your team already works in Figma and the generative work feeds design files, not ad accounts. The free Weave tools inside Figma Design during the beta are a good reason to wait and see. Stay if you rely on Weave's editing tools between generation steps.

Move if you need to trigger workflows from code or an AI assistant today, run the same workflow across a product catalog, or produce talking-presenter and localized video ads at volume.

Which Weavy alternative fits which team?

  • Design teams that want the same feel with an API: Flora.
  • Art directors who explore before they produce: Krea Nodes.
  • Teams already paying for Freepik: Magnific Spaces.
  • Technical teams that want open models and full control: ComfyUI or Comfy Cloud.
  • Ad teams shipping many products and many languages: Orisu.

Moving a Weave workflow

No canvas imports another's files, so moving means rebuilding. Pick the one workflow you run most, rebuild it on the alternative, and compare what one finished asset costs on each. For video-heavy workflows, our AI video model price index gives per-second costs to plan with. If Orisu is on the shortlist, the templates give you a working ad workflow to start from.

Common questions.

What happened to Weavy?

Figma acquired Weavy and announced it on October 30, 2025. The product now runs as Figma Weave at weave.figma.com, still as a node-based platform for AI models and editing tools. For now it is billed separately from Figma, and Weave tools inside Figma Design are free while they are in beta.

How much does Figma Weave cost?

Figma Weave has a free plan with 150 credits a month. Starter is $24 a month or $19 billed yearly for 1,500 credits, Professional is $45 or $36 for 4,000 credits, and Team is $60 or $48 per user for 4,500 credits each. Top-ups cost $10 per 1,000 or 1,200 credits.

What is the best Weavy alternative for ad production?

It depends on the work. Flora is the closest like-for-like browser canvas with team spend controls. Krea Nodes suits exploration with its realtime mode. ComfyUI gives the most control. Orisu, our product, adds ad-specific steps like catalog runs, lip-sync, dubbing and cost estimates before each run.

Does Figma Weave have an API?

Not for running workflows yet. Weave's pricing page lists running workflows through the API as coming soon on Enterprise, alongside the option to use your own API keys. Flora, Krea, Comfy Cloud and Orisu all offer an API or an MCP server today.
